Where does the time go....

It seems like I just posted yesterday. Its hard to believe that in 2 days December will be here and right around the corner comes Christmas. Its gonna be interesting getting ready for Christmas this year. I have next to no time because work has been so busy and I won't be buying all my craft supplies till this weekend... I see many late nights in my future. I am also excited to be heading into a season where Jay and I can start building our own traditions. Many will carry over from our families and our own growing up years... but then we will be building many together too I hope. Its going to be a different experience planning and buying gifts for a husband as opposed to picking up small trinkets and creating crafts as I have always done. ANd speaking of traditions I better go start hunting for a Green Bean Casserole recipe... yup green bean casserole will be added to our tradional Christmas meal in order to honor one of Jay's family traditions. I only hope I can make it half as good as his mom did.

We are alive....

Really we are lol. It is amazing how fast the past two weeks has gone. Life around our house is pretty much the same as always. Work for me is nuts... but I'd rather be working tons of hours instead of getting the few I had at my last job. We are in the process of filing the sponsership stuff for Jay. What a pain in the ass that is... but it will be worth it in the end. He applied to get his birth certificate... UGH what a pain. They told us one thing then when we did it they called and said no we need it this way... it is so annoying dealing with government agencies. I'm just glad we have the unlimited long distance to the states so we aren't paying through the teeth to talk to idiots!

As for the rest of this family of mine.... Lynne and Cliff celebrated 26 years; how amazing is that! I only hope that Jay and I can be half as successful as they have been in our marriage. Katy and Steve heard the baby's heart beat, Glenn and Marilyn both had birthdays. Life is moving along at a happy pace :)

I will try and post more often. Heck just getting online more often would be great. I check my mail, pop by my board then flop on the couch to snuggle with Jay before heading off to bed to gear up for the next day lol. I have however made it to level 8-4 of Zuma and my little bit of downtime is being filled with my obsession to get on to the next level lol :)
